Imperial Drill Stand Surround
I inherited a set of imperial drill bits. I didn't really need any more drill bits (I already had a couple of sets covering 1 mm to 10 mm in 0.1 mm increments). However, occasionally it's useful to be able to reach for an odd size, especially at the larger end. I quite liked the style of the stand that the imperial drill bits came in, but it's (unsurprisingly) labelled in inches and I thought it would be more helpful to see the dimensions in more modern units so I printed a frame for the old stand to sit in that shows the metric equivalent.
Now if I find I need a drill bit size somewhere in between my 10 mm and my 10.5 mm drill bit, I can see at a glance that there's a 10.3 mm one in the imperial set and I can grab it quickly.
